Task 193: Post-IF Analysis Report Review
Status: DONE
Goal
Review episode reports after the counterfactual IF analysis additions (Tasks 190-192) and recent changes (MDX migration, error range visualization). Verify:
- New IF explorations render correctly (ep01-exploration-05/06, ep03-exploration-04/05, ep04-exploration-04/05)
- Cross-references and transferId links are valid
- No rendering regressions from MDX migration
- Build and all tests pass
- Fix any issues found
Context
Since last review (Task 180), these changes happened:
- Task 185: Error range visualization added to EP01-EP03
- Task 186-187: All episodes migrated from JSON to MDX
- Task 188: Orbital animation example page
- Task 189: Tech overview refresh
- Task 190-192: IF analyses added to EP01, EP03, EP04
Findings
All 6 new IF explorations render correctly
- EP01: exploration-05 (perijove capture IF), exploration-06 (150h route IF)
- EP03: exploration-04 (wrong nav choice IF), exploration-05 (alternative moons IF)
- EP04: exploration-04 (plasmoid evasion cascade IF), exploration-05 (stay at Titania IF)
- All have proper headings, scenario tables, collapsed sections, KaTeX math, summary blocks
Bug found and fixed: scenario table column misalignment
- Issue:
renderExploration()used only the first scenario's result keys for table headers, but each scenario'srenderScenarioRow()output all its own keys as<td>cells. When scenarios had different keys, column counts mismatched. - Affected: 12 explorations across all 5 episodes had inconsistent result keys
- Fix: Compute union of all result keys across all scenarios; render empty cells for missing keys
- Test: Added
aligns columns when scenarios have different result keysregression test
Test results
- 1599 unit tests: ALL PASS (+1 new)
- 99 E2E tests: ALL PASS
- Build succeeds
- Rust checks pass
