Task 274: Communications Report External Review

Status: DONE

Motivation

Summary report external reviews are in progress. ship-kestrel (T266) and cross-episode (T273) are done; 7 remain. The communications report (通信遅延と通信描写の考証) covers light-speed delay analysis across all 5 episodes — a key scientific analysis that benefits from external review.

Scope

1. Launch an external review agent (separate context) to review the communications report
2. Fix any issues found (data inconsistencies, readability problems, broken links)
3. Add regression tests for any corrections

Review Criteria

• Data integrity: distances, light-speed delays, and calculations are consistent
• Japanese text quality: natural phrasing, no awkward constructions
• Navigation: links work, cross-references are valid
• Readability: accessible to readers unfamiliar with SOLAR LINE
• Source citations: properly linked and accurate

Issues Found and Fixed

External review (Sonnet agent) found 11 issues:

1. HIGH: DSOC 267 Mbps was at ~0.2 AU, not 1.8 AU — corrected with NASA source link
2. HIGH: EP03 route distance 10.1–12.8 AU outdated — corrected to 9.6 AU (new epoch)
3. MEDIUM: FSPL optical 363 dB → 362 dB (verified by calculation)
4. MEDIUM: EP01 所見 Earth delay 47 min → 52 min (consistent with 全話通貫 table)
5. LOW: Route table EP01 Earth delay 4.4 → 4.3 min
6. MEDIUM: Added EP02 beacon discovery/timing scenes (ep02-dl-028, dl-050, dl-051)
7. MEDIUM: Added EP05 beacon blackout and deception beacon scenes
8. LOW: Added timestamp to EP02 communication quote (18:01)
9. MEDIUM: Clarified route table column headers with explanatory note
10. MEDIUM: Added introduction section (本レポートについて) for newcomers
11. LOW: EP04 section text clarified (no external comm scenes)

+6 regression tests (DSOC distance, EP03 distance, FSPL, beacon timing, blackout/deception, intro)
