pub struct SegmentSystem\<'a, S\>

A system bound to one segment, for handing to a solver.

derivatives(DynamicalSystem::derivatives) forwards to derivatives_in_segment(DynamicalSystem::derivatives_in_segment) with the bound segment, so every stage the solver evaluates — including the one at the segment’s end — reads the segment’s mode. Build one per segment and drop it at the end: DP45 carries k7 from an accepted step into the next step as its k1, so a stepper living across a switch would open the step after it with a derivative taken on the other side. DOP853’s k1 is empty after an accepted step — it caches one only to retry a rejected step — so there it is the adapted step size, not a derivative, that a fresh stepper drops.

fn new(system: &‘a S, segment: SegmentContext) -> Self

Bind system to segment.

fn segment(&self) -> &SegmentContext

The segment this system is bound to.
